Loopkeeper — Privacy Policy

What the app stores, what it shares, and what it never does.

This policy describes what Loopkeeper does with data. It is written from the app's actual behaviour and is kept short on purpose.

What Loopkeeper stores and where

Projects, counters, notes, imported pattern files, marks and highlights are stored on your device and in your private iCloud database (Apple CloudKit). Only devices signed in with your Apple Account can read them. Loopkeeper has no server and the developer cannot see your data.

What the developer collects

Nothing. Loopkeeper contains no analytics, advertising or tracking code and makes no network requests of its own; sync is handled by Apple's iCloud and purchases by Apple's App Store. The App Store privacy label is “Data Not Collected”. If you email support, the developer receives your email and what you write, and uses it only to help you.

Purchases

The one-time unlock is sold and processed by Apple through the App Store. Loopkeeper checks your entitlement with StoreKit on your device; the developer receives no personal information about you from a purchase.

Permissions

Loopkeeper asks for access to the files or photos you choose to import, through the system pickers, and nothing else. It does not use your location, contacts, camera or microphone.

Patterns and copyright

Patterns you import stay in your private iCloud. Loopkeeper never shares, publishes or redistributes them. Please respect designers' licences for the patterns you use.

Deleting your data

Delete a project to remove it from all your devices and your iCloud; Settings → Delete everything removes all Loopkeeper data. You can also manage Loopkeeper's iCloud data in iOS Settings → Apple Account → iCloud.

Children

Loopkeeper is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone.

Changes

This policy is updated when the app's data practices change; the date at the bottom of the page is the current version.
